Google Meet call capture
Google Meet calls are captured automatically: a summary and a call grade in the organizer’s language, the real attendee list, and a one-click jump to the linked deal.
When your meetings run on Google Meet, Ikigai captures the call after it ends and turns it into structured material you can review without rewatching anything. This works for meetings synced from your connected Google Calendar.
What gets captured
After a call finishes, the transcript is fetched from Google Meet and processed automatically. The meeting's detail panel then shows a Call review section with:
- A summary of the conversation — written in the organizer's language, so a manager who ran the call in Ukrainian gets a Ukrainian summary.
- A grade from A to F: "A — excellent", "B — good", "C — average", "D — weak", "F — failed". The grade also appears on the meeting chip right in the calendar grid, so you can scan a week and instantly spot which calls went well.
- Findings — concrete issues the assistant spotted in the conversation, each paired with a suggested fix.
- The full diarized transcript in a scrollable block with a copy button, each line attributed to its speaker.
"Actually on the call"
Invitation lists lie: people accept and never show up. The detail panel therefore has a separate "Actually on the call" block built from real Google Meet participation data. For each person you see their name and how many minutes they actually spent in the call. Alongside this, the meeting is automatically stamped with an attendance outcome — held or no-show — which drives an indicator on the calendar chip for past meetings.
From a meeting to the client
Meetings attached to a Deal or Contact are more than calendar entries. Click such a meeting and Ikigai opens a preview of the linked record without leaving the calendar: the deal or contact card slides in, a banner with the meeting details stays on top, and the meeting panel opens as a companion next to the record. You review the call and the client's full history side by side — timeline, emails, and chats in one view.

The grade and summary appear only after the transcript is available from Google Meet — for a long call this can take a little while after the meeting ends. Until then the panel shows the capture status.
