Insights: the live overview

What the Insights page shows for leadership, team leads, and individual managers — KPIs, loss reasons, top performers, and stuck deals, all on live data.

Library → Insights is the at-a-glance dashboard: quick KPIs, the leaderboard, and warning signals, all computed from live workspace data. For deeper drill-downs it links straight into the report pages described in Funnel and pipeline reports.

Access requires the insights permission of your role. What you see depends on your role's analytics scope — the page adapts instead of showing everyone the same numbers.

The team view

Leaders whose role includes team analytics see the full dashboard:

  • KPI cardsCollected (payments received this period), Emails sent, Avg response (from an inbound email to the manager's reply), and Meetings held (held out of scheduled).
  • Stage conversion funnel — how many deals ever reached each milestone of the primary pipeline (Lead → Engaged → Qualified → Meeting → Contract → Paid), with the count still open at each step.
  • Loss reasons — a donut of the reasons picked when deals close as lost. This is usually the fastest answer to "where are we losing money".
  • Top performers — the top five managers ranked by an efficiency score, with their email volume, response time, held-meeting rate, and collected amount. "View all" opens the full team analytics report.
  • Team reports — shortcuts to the Leaderboard, Meetings, and Communications reports.
  • Stuck deals — open deals that have sat in a stage far longer than that stage's normal time. Each row links to the deal card.

A team lead sees only their own team here; a Head of Sales sees their subtree; directors and admins see everyone. The scope is applied inside the queries, not just in the UI.

The personal view

A manager whose role has insights access but not team analytics gets the My performance view instead: the same four KPI cards computed for their own work only, plus My stuck deals. There is no way to see a colleague's numbers from this view — personal dashboards are hard-scoped to the signed-in user.

Role-specific views

Two built-in roles get a specialized dashboard on the same page:

RoleWhat Insights shows
AccountantThe month's payment forecast by manager (received, confirmed, awaiting, optimistic) plus win/loss and loss reasons
LegalCase pipeline: totals, cases awaiting decision, upcoming appointments, outcomes, and document readiness

Periods

The team and personal views use the same period tabs as Reports — 7d, 30d, 90d, Quarter, All time — with 30 days as the default. The role-specific views work differently: the accountant forecast is always pinned to the current month, and the Legal view has no period tabs.

For per-manager tables and CSV exports, continue with Manager performance analytics.
