Notification settings

Control what lands in your notification bell: keep the important categories on, silence the informational noise, and manage followed records.

Notifications arrive in the bell in the top bar. What gets there is up to you: open "Settings" in the sidebar and pick "Notifications", or click "Notification settings" at the bottom of the bell panel itself. As the page subtitle puts it: keep the important things on, turn off the informational noise.

"Important" — categories that need you

Five toggles, one per category. A disabled category is dropped at the moment of writing — notifications do not pile up silently in the background.

CategoryFires when
"Mentions"Someone @-tagged you in a note, assigned a task, or added you as approver.
"Approvals"Approval requests wait on you, or your own asks get decided.
"Tasks"Your tasks are due today, overdue, or have reminders.
"Customers"Client replies, won / lost, and stalled deals on your records.
"System"Bulk operations finish, exports are ready, channels disconnect, automations fail.

We recommend keeping all five on — they only fire when something genuinely needs your attention.

"Informational noise" — frequent, low-stakes events

Three separate toggles cover the chattiest event types so you can silence volume without losing the important alerts:

  • A colleague emailed the client on your record.
  • Someone (not you) moved your deal's stage.
  • A colleague left a note on your record.

Turning one off simply mutes that notification type; the client-reply and won/lost alerts from the "Customers" category above keep coming.

"Muted notification types"

Individual notification types can also be muted straight from the bell panel. Everything you muted that way appears here as a row of chips — click one to unmute it. The section is hidden while you have nothing muted.

"Records you follow"

Notifications come from records you own or follow. This section shows your subscription counts (as owner, as participant, followed manually) and lists the records you can drop: click "Unfollow" on one, or "Unfollow all" to clear the list. Records you own cannot be unfollowed here — reassign them or use the noise toggles above.

Saving

Category and noise toggles apply after you click "Save preferences"; a short "Saved" confirmation appears next to the button. Unmuting chips and unfollowing records apply immediately.

The email in your profile is used for signing in and service emails such as invitations — double-check it in Profile settings.
