How to change the interface language
Switch Ikigai between English, Russian, and Ukrainian in Settings → Account. The change applies to your seat only and takes effect immediately.
The Ikigai interface is available in three languages: English, Русский (Russian), and Українська (Ukrainian). The language is a personal preference — every member of the workspace picks their own, and your choice never affects your teammates.
Switching the language
- Open Settings from the sidebar navigation.
- Go to the "Account" page — it holds the personal preferences for your seat.
- Find the "Language" section. As the hint under it says, it "sets the interface language for menus, buttons, and system messages".
- Click one of the three language cards — there is no separate save button.
- The card shows a brief loading spinner and then a checkmark — the interface switches right away, no sign-out or page reload required.
What the setting affects
- All interface chrome: navigation, buttons, dialogs, hints, system messages.
- Only your account. A colleague working in the same workspace can keep a different language.
- The setting is stored in your profile, so it follows you across browsers and devices once you sign in.
How the language is chosen before you set it
On your very first visit, before you have picked anything, Ikigai takes the language from your browser preferences and falls back to English when there is no match. As soon as you choose a language on the "Account" page, that explicit choice wins everywhere.
Do not confuse it with the contact's language
Client cards have their own "Language" field — that one describes the client and is useful for choosing which template to send. Changing your interface language does not touch client cards, deals, or any data: records, notes, and messages stay exactly as they were written.
Tip: administrators can open a member's profile under Settings → "Members" (each row of the team table links to it) and see — or change — that member's interface language there. Handy when preparing onboarding materials for a mixed-language team.
