Keyboard shortcuts
Press the "?" key anywhere to open the shortcuts cheatsheet, and learn the handful of keys that speed up navigation, records, and the inbox.
Ikigai keeps its shortcut list small on purpose — a handful of keys you will actually remember. And you never have to memorize them: the app carries its own cheatsheet.
Open the cheatsheet: the "?" key
Press ? anywhere (as long as the cursor is not inside a text field) and the "Keyboard shortcuts" overlay opens. Press Esc to close it. The same overlay is available from the user menu — click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar and choose "Keyboard shortcuts".
Navigation

The command palette is the biggest time-saver of the three: it finds deals, contacts, companies, tasks, and more, and runs quick actions. See its dedicated guide below.
Records
| Keys | What it does |

| Click | Open a record in the side drawer (deals, contacts, companies) |
| ⌘ Click | Open the record in a new tab as a full page |
The drawer is for a quick look without losing your place in the list; the full page is for real work on the record.
Inbox
| Keys | What it does |
|---|---|
| J / K | Move down / up between threads |
| E | Archive the current thread |
| R | Reply |
| U | Mark the current thread as read |
| C | Compose a new message |
With these keys an inbox session becomes: J to the next thread, read, R to answer or E to archive, repeat.
One more configurable key
How chat messages are sent is up to you: in Settings → Account, the "Hotkeys for sending messages" block lets you choose Enter to send (Shift+Enter for a new line) or Cmd/Ctrl+Enter to send (Enter for a new line).
Tip: on Windows and Linux, read ⌘ as Ctrl — ⌘K works as Ctrl+K.
